About CNCES

A Credential-Led Electrical Contractor for the North Shore

Canadian North Coast Electrical Services Ltd. is a Red Seal, Class A FSR electrical contractor based in North Vancouver, BC — built around one Field Safety Representative carrying compliance documentation from first design review to final acceptance.

Led by a Class A Field Safety Representative

CNCES is owned and operated by Wade Hickey, a Red Seal Electrician and Class A FSR. Class A is the highest FSR classification available — carrying no voltage or capacity ceiling — and Wade has held FSR-of-record responsibilities across battery storage compliance, strata infrastructure, estate properties, commercial tenant improvements, and mobile vendor electrical throughout his career.

That range is by design. Rather than treating compliance as a formality attached to the end of a job, CNCES structures every engagement around the documentation an inspector, a strata council, or an insurer will eventually ask to see.

How CNCES Works

Four Things That Don't Change Between Verticals

Compliance Certainty

Permits, declarations, and inspection documentation are carried by the same Field Safety Representative from start to finish — no handoffs mid-project.

Documentation Depth

Every project leaves behind a complete compliance record, not just a passed inspection.

Direct Access

You reach the FSR of record directly — not a call centre or a rotating crew.

Discretion

Estate and commercial clients get an electrician who works quietly within their existing team, not around it.
