EV charging for stratas and homes
Whether you need a charger at home or an EV Ready Plan for a whole complex, CNCES handles the electrical side.
EV charging in a strata
Strata owners can ask for EV charging under a set process. A qualified electrical contractor supports the request and the plan behind it.
After your EPR
Once a strata has its Electrical Planning Report, or its EPR deadline has passed, owners can request EV charging. Learn about EPRs.
An owner's request
Each request needs a qualified contractor's work description, estimate and timeline. The strata council must decide within three months.
EV Ready Plans
A licensed electrical contractor can prepare an EV Ready Plan, which sets out what it takes to bring charging to every parking stall. It works for any building type.
